Stampin up - Echoes of Kindness

I achieved the large black scalloped circle by using my Stampin Up Scallop border punch on a straight strip of black card. Under each scallop loop I snipped half way through the bottom of the card, then overlaped the little snipped pieces of card at the bottom while adhering it with double sided to the white circle.

Christmas card - Fabric poinsettia and pinecones

This was the theme for my Christmas cards a few years ago. The poinsettia's are actually fabric which I'd picked up in the after Christmas sales the previous year. I used an iron on paper (can't remember what this is called but bought by the metre at Spotlight) as the backing which allowed me to cut out the image, and fine detail, using fabric scissors. Very easy yet different and effective. I get bored easily with Christmas cards as it's often the same design repeated over and over. I liked this idea as each card was slightly different on the fabric and only doubled up each metre.

Wedding or Engagement card

I made this card ages ago as a wedding card. It was sooo easy! No stampin involved as I used some beautiful wrapping paper.

Stampin Up - Fifth Avenue Floral - Ruffled ribbon

Graduation Owl - Punch art

Punch art Owl

I've seen many versions of these owls but I modified it slightly to suit the Stampin Up punches I had. I've tried to show how I achieved the owls head using the SU Circle Scallop punch and SU large circle punch. By punching out 3 of the scallops from the Circle Scallop head, it achieved a better shaped owl head and the removed sections became the owl wings.
