To retain the 'J' and remove the remainder of the wording in 'Joy' I had two attempts. In the first attempt (which didn't work for me) I stamped the entire stamp, then tried to remove the 'o' and 'y' with a cotton wool bud. But when stamped the outline of the letters remained albeit very faintly. So the second attempt (which worked great) was I placed sticky tape strategically over the unwanted letters, stamped the entire stamp, removed the sticky tape and it stamped perfectly.

I LOVE these, absolutely beautiful. The Aunt's will love them too. You have been busy. Love S xxx
ReplyDeleteAnother way of just stamping the parts of the stamp you want is to use the pens with a paint brush type nib. Like Tom Bow, Le Plume and the Stampin Up ones. They are the same ink as the stamp pads and you just colour the parts of the stamp you want and stamp it. Love Sherryn xx
