Sea Shell Birthday card & Stampin Up Flower Pot card

I made these cards as examples for a card class I'm running this weekend. The idea came from an old Stampin & Papercraft magazine. I used the Stampin Up Grey ink pad on cream card (which sounds an odd combination but turned out surprisingly okay.

Well I'm sure I'm not the first to do this (and probably not the last), but after waking up still not happy with my first scrapbooking attempt, I pulled it apart and tried again. I'm now much more satisfied and finished off the 2nd page. These are my new versions.
