It's a bit hard to see the detail, however the vine leaf on the right hand side of both cards has been cut out and raised using mounting block to give a 3D effect to match the butterflies and dragonfly. Another example of a simple card utilising only a small splash of colour.

Iris Folding - Flower basket - General purpose card
I've been doing a bit of Iris Folding lately as I'm running a card making class for a friend of mine (and her crafty buddies) next weekend. One of the cards I'm teaching is iris folding. At this stage this will be the card we make as its one of the easiest designs with all straight cutting lines. It's also versatile and can be used as an easter card - just replace the flowers with punched out oval circles for easter eggs.
