Sea Shell Birthday card & Stampin Up Flower Pot card

I made these cards as examples for a card class I'm running this weekend. The idea came from an old Stampin & Papercraft magazine. I used the Stampin Up Grey ink pad on cream card (which sounds an odd combination but turned out surprisingly okay.

Products used: cream cardstock, PSX shell stamp, Stamp It shell stamp, pearl strand, white ribbon.

Products used: Stampin Up Flower Fancy stamp set, Stampin up Elegant Eggplant ink pad, Stampin Up ... can't remember the name of the lighter purple (I'll update this later!), Bazil cardstock, white gel pen

Stampin Up - Flower Fancy flower pot card

These Flower Pot cards were on all the blogs early this year (so I'm lagging a bit behind!), but I thought I'd give them a go. I used the Stampin Up Vintage Vogue set (which I think is a little 'busy', and the Stampin Up Flower Fancy stamp set (which turned out lovely). I've also seen this done brilliantly with the SU Petal Pizzaz.

One thing I didn't like about the flower pot cards is that you couldn't stand them upright. So to fix this I attached a little easel on the back which folds down flat to fit in an envelope (see piccy below). Problem solved!

Stampin Up - Flower Fancy

This is the final one made for my workmates. This uses the SU Flower Fancy stamp set. I am going to make a concieous effort to not use SU Kiwi Kiss (green) in my next few cards as although I love the colour, I just realised I use it ALL the time. Mental note to self...do not use Kiwi Kiss. Oh that will be hard. :)
