Stampin Up Bird Punch - Daughters Birthday
A work colleague asked me to make her a card for her daughters birthday. Her daughter loves birds and the colour pink. Knowing immediately it was an opportunity to utilise the very versatile Stampin Up Bird Punch, the creation grew into a bird house. I used a combination of Stampin Up Pink Pirouette, SU Pretty In Pink & SU Regal Rose. I stamped the body of the bird using SU Vintage Vogue stamp set. I will definately be making a few more of these.

Stampin Up - Fifth Avenue Floral
I absolutely loved this card created by very talented Tenealle Williams. I've seen lots of CASE'd versions of this card, it's just so beautiful. The main rose is stamped using Black Stazon and I watercoloured the petals using Stampin Up Pink Pirouette ink pad. The background card is SU Pink Pirouette using the same colour to randomly stamp images from Stampin Up Vintage Vogue stamp set. The ribbon technique is called 'double ruffled ribbon' which creates a stunning feature on it's own.
I had stamped the rose image at my last watercolour technique class with Charmaine Black so if I'd had a spare image, I would have added another layer to the rose to add dimension. I feel it really needs this to finish it off. (I will probably add this later if I can sweet talk someone into letting me borrow their set ... hint hint sis!!

Stampin Up - Flower Fancy flower pot card

One thing I didn't like about the flower pot cards is that you couldn't stand them upright. So to fix this I attached a little easel on the back which folds down flat to fit in an envelope (see piccy below). Problem solved!

Stampin up - Vintage Vogue

Howdy all - hope you've had a superb Sunday. After cleaning the house, then taking the dogs on a bush walk, I've been a busy crafter today - inbetween basking in the sun and heading back inside to continue on with today's project.
A few weeks ago I posted some cards which I'd made for some work mates as some ladies asked to have a look. I'm pleased to say they got snapped up, however as my stocks are so low, so I'm making some more of the ones that were really popular. Even non-crafters appreciate how beautiful Stampin Ups Vintage Vogue stamp set is, and as this is one of my favourites, I was thrilled to pull it off the shelf first and have a play.
I used Stampin Up Vintage Vogue stamp set, SU Sage Shadow ink (green), SU Orchid Opulence (Purple), SU Night of Navy (Dark Blue). To get the textured coloured card, I used my Cuttlebug machine (just love that machine!!!).

Stampin Up - Scallop Punch

This is not my normal style but as I needed to make a range of different cards for some work mates, I needed to think outside of my normal 'safe' colour range and style. I CASED the idea from Karen Dillon (http://cardsbeautifulcards.blogspot.com/) who is one of many blogs I visit to get (steal) ideas!
This picture does not do this card justice. I'm not often wrapped in my final product, but I was really happy with this one. I used a circle die in my Cuttlebug for a textured background on the white card, and stamped onto SU Pink Piourette a stamp from the SU Vintage Vogue set. But the best part would be the rosettes (flowers) made from SU Scallop Punch. I can see a number of cards using this embellishment as the centre piece. Only problem is it would not survive the post as the rosette was get absolutely flattened.

Stampin Up - Vintage Vogue

I love this stamp set, which I think I've already mentioned numerous times. This piccy is hard to see but it made using a textured white card and SU Chocolate Chip ink pad and SU Vintage Vogue. To add some more interest I used a little bit of glitter on the 'F' and some pearl bling. I achieved the multi-tone brown by stamping off first then stamping again to get a half inked image. So simple yet very elegant.
Stampin Up - Vintage Vogue and Butterfly Prints

I've had some more requests for cards from workmates so I thought I'd get busy this weekend and get a few made. I got stuck on 2 stamp sets which are my current favourites (SU Vintage Vogue and SU Upsy Daisy). I also got to play with my new Cuttlebug machine. This was bought by my other half for my birthday but I was allowed to play with it 3 months early! Bless his sweet little heart!!!
